The birthday celebrations continue on from last year with our 40th birthday to this year. The birth year of our great city. There is no room for doom and gloom as we showcase just how wonderful our amazing community really is. Be it all the incredible sponsors and sonors who without their financial and in-kind sponsorship assistance this show could not go on, thru to the hard working committee who work tirelessly to put on a show our city can be proud of. This year we again are giving you some new sights and sounds to keep young and old entertained. We have some old faithful’s returning and some new faces to spice it all up!!
Yes we have the PBR back to showcase some of the best fearless bull riders plus we have the horse events and the fascinating Bronco Branding. Come and put your hand up and get a team together for the return of the Rock Drilling Contest!!! Think you’re handy with your BBQ Smoker?? Prove it – with our first Meat Smoking Competition… and don’t forget the return of the Scarecrow competition. Can we get 100 entries for 100 years of Mount Isa? Demolition Derby – Enter now! Pets Parade and Weiner Races, Pig Races, Petting Zoo, Side Show Alley, Tiny Tots Competition and many more things to see and do at this years Show.
