Each year, a small group of dedicated people band together to bring the Mount
Isa & Camooweal Community and surrounding districts an awesome Show.
There is always Sideshow Alley, fabulous roving entertainers, pig races, petting
zoo and lots of stalls showcasing their wonderful products; along with Dagwood
Dogs, Fairy Floss, plenty of food choices and Showbags!
In 2020, excitement is building as the Mount Isa will be the first rural city in
Australia to host the Architects of Air Daedalum. The latest inflatable installation
conceived by Alan Parkinson, founder of Architects of Air, consists of 19
interconnected egg-shaped domes made from translucent material. People will be
taken on a journey of discovery and experience as they walk their way through a
giant, breathing sculpture of colour and light.
